Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (Endorsed to Disconnect and Connect) (EASQ) Block Course (Theory & Practical)
This course covers the underpinning theory included in the EASQ examination and completion of the practical assessment required by the EWRB.
The EASQ licence allows you to carry out the connection or disconnection of fitting to, or from, a power supply or an appliance connector inserted into an appliance inlet provided that the electrical rating is not more than 250 volts. Work ranges from maintaining and repairing household appliances to maintaing gaming machines.
To enrol in this examination you must be able to prove 18 months of experience to the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). This means that you must contact the EWRB and prove your experience to them in the manner that they require.
Demand for this course is high, so we encourage you to enrol early!
There is significant course preparation work to be studied before you sit this exam.
In 2018 this course and exam has two enrolment intakes on 23 June and 17 November.
The course and the exam need to be enrolled in separately. The course enrolment cut-off dates are 4 May and 28 September. The exam cut-off enrolment dates are 8 June and 2 November.
