Summary

This course covers the underpinning theory included in the EAS examination and completion of the practical assessment required by the EWRB.

The EAS licence allows you to maintain electrical appliances, as long as the electrical rating on the appliance is not greater than 250 volts and is supplied by a plug with a flexible cord. Work typically includes the maintenance of electrical appliances.

Prerequisite Requirements

To enrol in the EAS examination you must be able to prove 18 months of experience to the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). This means that you must contact the EWRB and prove your experience to them in the manner that they require.
