EWRB EAS (Endorsed to disconnect/connect)
You will learn to maintain appliances and work ranges from repairing a household appliance to maintaining gaming machines; you will be permitted to disconnect these appliances from permanent connection units.
In order to complete this examination you will be required to prove 18 months of experience which is acceptable to the EWRB prior to obtaining registration. For more information see the EWRB Website.
Registered EASQ persons may perform prescribed electrical work on appliances, including disconnection from and reconnection to fixed wiring, which are not rated at more than 250 volts.
People wishing to prepare for this examination and practical assessment are required to attend a three day block course.
It is recommended that people enrol early, to enable them to complete the course preparation - to be done from home before you undertake the block course.
Recommended time for this part of the course is at least six weeks.
