James Wilson – Electrotechnology Trainer
James got his start in Electronics by completing a BSc at The University of Waikato in 2006. He continued adding to his qualifications, gaining his Electrical Appliance Serviceperson licence while working as a service technician.
With a passion for people and learning, James landed a part time tutoring role at Unitec in 2013. He moved back into appliance and electrical servicing while acquiring his Electrical Service Technician license, before joining E-tec as a teacher in early 2022. He is currently completing his Master of Engineering while teaching.
